Here's a peek into the best and worst moments of last week!
Best: Being with family
Andrew's younger brother got married last week so we traveled down to Utah. Weddings can be stressful (I don't love the waiting, picture taking, trying to look nice while running around, working around nap time, breastfeeding in public under a sweaty wrap, etc.) but it was so fun to celebrate with family and spend time together. For me, marriage has its hard times but it is the very best. I love seeing people start their lives together. Plus, the reception had a killer dance party and you guys know how much I love a good party! The wedding was held at the Salt Lake Temple. While we were there I thought about its design and construction. I knew it was built by the pioneers, but who designed it? I had never thought about it. Turns out, there was an architect named Truman O. Angell. You can learn more about him here.
Worst: Don't look at me the wrong way
Seriously guys, don't. I might rip your head off. Well, at least I might have last week. Luckily I held it together and didn't cause any damage. I found pretty much everyone and everything irritating. The way Andrew closes doors. The person chewing their dinner next to me. My iPhone asking for my Apple login 176 times. I don't remember it okaaaaayy? The person waving me through the 4-way stop when it's their turn. (You're not being nice, you're ruining the system.) You know what all these have in common? They're not a very big deal. They shouldn't make you want to rage on someone, but they did. What was that all about? Lady probs? Birth control? Who knows. Baby N and I did come home from Utah with colds (no fun, but this seriously helps a sore throat) so maybe it was just a precursor to being sick. Either way, I'm feeling much better and hopefully we kick these colds soon! Anyone else ever feel this way? Please tell me I'm not the only one!
Hope you have a great week.
