Get the Look: Neutral Nursery

Andrew and I are expecting our first baby at the end of February, so I've got babies on the mind! I really love the look of a neutral nursery, one that can be used for a boy or girl with little or no changes! The main pieces can stay the same and if changes need to be made for a future kiddo, simply switching out bedding or art should do the trick. This nursery looks a little more on the masculine side, but I think it works for a girl too. Then again, I really love masculine spaces, so maybe it's just me!

The trick to a successful neutral color palette is to add interest through pattern or texture. In this design, I've added a bold pattern through the striped rug and texture through the garland, basket, and sheepskin.

What are your thoughts on a neutral nursery? I say go for it!
