I love doing e-design! With moving around and traveling so much after Andrew's graduation, it's become the design service I offer most. I love being able to work with clients from anywhere and they are often surprised how detailed e-design projects can really be. All e-design projects include an initial consultation, floor plan, design board, and shopping list with one round of revisions. After receiving their design, clients are welcome to implement it in their home at their own pace.
This last project was done for my cousin in Salt Lake who was a dream client. It was so fun to work with her! She wanted her living room to be designed in a transitional style, a mix of traditional and modern. We started by freshening up the fireplace and built-ins that were already in the room with some new paint and a new mantle. We included all new furniture mixed in with some new and existing accessories. She loves blue, so it was fun to incorporate navy into the space as the main accent color.
Below is the initial design board I created for her:
After reviewing her initial design board she had me switch out the style of sofa, side table, and upholstered chair. They were fairly small changes and I love the result! Check out her final design board:
What do you think? I'm in love with the result! Traditional and modern with a little hint of glam. Big thanks to Rachel and Darin for being the best clients ever!
