Becky was born and raised in Orem, Utah and has always wanted to be an interior designer. She was brought up by outdoor enthusiast parents and spent the majority of her life swimming in Utah lakes, biking in the Wasatch mountains, and rafting rivers of the western U.S. She is constantly inspired by nature and loves using natural textures, colors, and materials in her designs.
Becky earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from BYU-Idaho where she placed in multiple design competitions and received several scholarships. Her student work has been featured in Tile Magazine, The Editor at Large, and News and Notes to name a few.
Upon graduation, Becky worked in the commercial design field for MLD Worldwide, a firm specializing in tourist attraction and theme park design. While there she aided in the design of the Polynesian Cultural Center, Holiday Inn Express, and more.
She believes beauty can be found in any interior style—traditional, modern, rustic, contemporary, or minimalist. Her interiors are a mix of design styles that balance old with new and often have a touch of the eclectic. Her favorite design element is texture, which she often incorporates into spaces to make them feel organic and real.
Becky thinks the best homes tell a story, encourage healthy living, and inspire people to live fully. She believes well-designed interiors should reflect their surrounding architecture and most importantly, the people inside.
